WE KNOW THE CITY IS STILL STRUGGLING, BECAUSE ALMOST 12 WEEKS LATER, IT IS STILL PICKING UP SO MUCH MORE TRASH THAN USUAL. WHEN I GOT HOME, THE TARP WAS IN THE TREE. YEAH, THEY’LL WAIT THREE WEEKS TO CLEAN UP, I’M SURE. Reporter: THEY SAID THEY ARE SICK OF DEALING WITH THE DAMAGE FROM THE STORM THAT HIT DALLAS SO HARD. IT WAS PRETTY SIGNIFICANT. THE SECOND WEEK OF AUGUST, CREWS COLLECTED ALMOST TWICE THE AVERAGE WEEK TWO COLLECTION VOLUMES. I KNOW IT’S A HUGE, YOU KNOW, PROBLEM, I GUESS. JUST TONS OF STUFF TO CLEAN UP, AND WE DON’T HAVE THE RESOURCES TO DO IT ALL IN A TIMELY TAGS. WELL, THE CITY ONLY HAS SO MUCH MANPOWER TO ORGANIZE SUCH A CHAOTIC EFFORT, SO THEY HAVE TO DEAL WITH WITH ACCORDINGLY.
