M.S. in Management of Technology

M.S. in Management of Technology

The genesis of TLI has been and to this day remains true after twenty-five years, to develop local-
global leaders for technology enterprises. This program really talks about technology, potentials technology, how
unleash that potential, where the new technological trends are going to come,
how different technologies can merge together to create whole new businesses,
whole new industries. It’s at the cutting edge. Originally when I had heard the, uh, about the program it was so nice marriage between the
technology that I love and business and how to propel it forward. With a master in technology and business you become a
little more marketable. We take bright people who are working full time and we work with them, we train them to
become leaders thirty three point six percent off
alumni of our Master of Science in Management of Technology become
executives within five to seven years after graduation. Another fifty two to fifty four percent
become managers and senior managers. So we develop leaders for tech-intensive enterprises. We’re going to switch gears here and talk about competitve intelligence. I did my capstone on an area that is
important for company and, um, I wanted to apply
all my learnings from MOT on this project and I found myself, um, using all the courses and programs that they have
studied, ah, during MOT to create a solution for the company that is in alignment with the company’s mission and the business strategy. The MOT
program and it’s capstone have the same threads throughout which is to apply MOT to your work and vice versa. Strategies about leadership and in leadership you really have to understand broad trends in the world. So I think this program is
teaching me also to kind of think outside my little engineering world and realize that there are people out
there that are not engineers so how do I bridge the knowledge gap between technical people and not technical people. There’s lots of MBA’s out there but this gives you a chance to differentiate yourself in the market. The marriage of technology and and business together really made a difference.
We develop local and global leaders for technology enterprises. This is exactly the part of empowering managers, executives to understand local to global and connect the whole thing coherently and strategically and operationally, financially In every dimension to map and execute that successfully. Management of Technology is for anyone and everyone who wants to make a difference
in their organization. In business, it’s what gives you the competitive edge
