How to Scan and Save ID Cards on HP Enterprise MFPs | HP Printers | HP

Scan both sides of an ID card, and save them to a stored folder on HP Enterprise MFPs for printing later. From the home screen of the printer control panel, touch Scan, and then Scan to Job Storage. If prompted, enter the username and password. Touch the field under Folder. Create a new folder, or select the default storage folder, and then touch Select. Touch Job Name, and enter a name using the touchscreen keyboard, and then close the keyboard. Touch Options, Scan Mode, and then 2-sided ID. Touch Done to save the settings. Lift the scanner lid. Place the ID card on the left-rear corner
of the scanner glass, with at least one quarter of an inch of space between the edges of the card, and the edges of the scanner. Close the scanner lid. Touch the preview pane to scan one side of the ID card and capture the result in an image. With one side scanned, lift the scanner lid. Turn the ID card over, and then place it back in position. Close the scanner lid. Touch Scan to scan the other side of the card. Touch Done. A preview of your scanned ID card appears on the right side of the printer control panel. Touch Save. With the scans complete, they are saved in the designated folder and can be printed at a later time.
