My name is Claude Letourneau, and I’m the CEO of Inventys. Earth gave us natural CO2 filters.
The big one is photosynthesis, so trees and leaves. The second one is oceans, but these
filters are overloaded. We need to find a way of capturing this with an engine air filter
that takes that CO2 before it goes in the atmosphere,
and then we can use it for various uses. Inventys is in the business of capturing CO2 from industrial and gas power plants.
We have a unique technology that allows us to capture
the CO2 at a very low cost. We can
do this at less than $30 per time, which we believe
will be the enabler to opening up the
CO2 marketplace, which is almost inexistent today. We have a very small-scale
commercial unit, 30 ton per day plant that is
being built as we speak, and will be deployed early next year.
