Business Management

My colleagues are all open minded as to
what our curriculum should entail. No one here is satisfied with the status quo. They’re always open to changing things based on changes in the environment. In the first year everybody takes the
same essential business courses like introduction to business for example.
That’s a particularly good class because it’s a survey of all aspects of business
studies. It’s somewhat more difficult actually for four year degree programs to get as specialized technically as we can do. For example UO has no course in
digital marketing, right? So we’ve added that largely because when we talk to
employers they tell us this is an extremely important skill so we
responded to that and created the course for that and the marketing training for
people to follow. Lane prioritizes teaching. That’s my
greatest pleasure.
