THE ARIZONA THEATRE COMPANY’S PRODUCTION OF THE RIVER BRIDE IS ON STAGE AT THE TEMPLE OF MUSIC AND ART THROUGH NOVEMBER 11. THE PLAY, WINNER OF THE NATIONAL LATINO PLAYWRITING COMPETITION IS A GRIM FAIRY TALE SET ON THE AMAZON WHERE A FAMILY IS PREPARING FOR THE WEDDING OF ONE OF THEIR DAUGHTERS WHEN A MYSTERIOUS STRANGER IS PULLED FROM THE RIVER. TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE IN ADVANCE OR AT THE DOOR. THE TEMPLE IS LOCATED AT 330 SOUTH SCOTT AVE. THE TUCSON SYMPHONY’S SUPER POPS CONCERT MUSIC OF JAMES BOND WILL BE ON STAGE OCTOBER 28 & 29 AT THE TUCSON MUSIC HALL AT THE TCC. THE PERFORMANCE FEATURES NUMEROUS SONGS FROM THE FILM SERIES THAT HAVE BECOME POP CLASSICS, AND WILL BE PERFORMED BY HILARY KOLE. THE PROGRAM ALSO WILL FEATURE THE ICONIC JAMES BOND THEME SONG. PERFORMANCE S ARE SATURDAY AT 7:30 AND SUNDAY AT 2PM AND TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE IN ADVANCE OR AT THE DOOR. THE TUCSON MUSEUM OF ART HAS JUST REOPENED ITS REDESIGNED GALLERIES WITH A SPECTACULAR SHOW ENTITLED DESERT DWELLER, GUEST CURATED BY PAULA TAYLOR WHICH EXAMINES HISTORICAL AND CONTEMPORAR Y SOUTHERN ARIZONA RETAILERS AND DESIGNERS AS THE CURATORS AND INNOVATORS OF STYLE.
