I’m a cowboy…

ON A STEEL HORSE I RIDE

My niece and nephew have dragged me along on things I thought I wouldn’t survive this week. Isabell is an excellent young horsewoman and all of a sudden Aunt Cathrine was on the horseback too. I think we both had imagined that I would ride a little faster over the prairie than I did. My horse, Kalinka, was stubborn as a mule. Isabell explained very clearly that when the horse doesn’t want to walk, it’s not the fault of the horse, but the fault of the rider. So I’ve learned a lot. If you like to ride, you’ll get a great trip with El Salobre Horse Riding on Gran Canaria. Just make sure to get in front of that blonde woman in the denim shirt, because she’s not that fast… I can’t get that Bon Jovi song out of my head now: “I’m a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride, I’m wanted, dead or alive.”

In Norwegian:

I’m a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride, I’m wanted, dead or alive.”
