✔ Minecraft: How to make a Marketplace

How to make a How to make a Marketplace Today we’ll build a market place! To start off with, I’ll build a few of the components I use in a market place so that you can mix them up yourself! I’ll be writing what I’m working on in the bottom left corner. I’ll be writing what I’m working on in the bottom left corner. (bottom left) Basic Market Stand This basic market stand is my favorite design and it’s the one I use most often. Now for a very different one. This stand can sell in all 4 directions. :] (bottom left) Tall Market Stand You can, of course, use any color combination of wool. This one works well alone, but it is also useful if you are making a market place! (bottom left) Small Market Stand It kind of reminds me of a hot dog stand.. You cannot get in or out of this one without breaking anything. This is the last stand I’ll show you, but I could make 100 more! (bottom left) Big Market Stand After I’ve finished this one, we’ll move on to the accessories that will complement the marketplace. This stand has room for multiple villagers! Now for something decorative you can place around the stands! :] (bottom left) Goods Wagon Load it with whatever blocks the nearest stand is selling! This can be placed next to the forester’s stand. (bottom left) Stored Logs It’s not only logical to have these lying around, but they also look really good! 😀 This is for stands selling animals. (bottom left) Tiny Cage It can easily be expanded if the mob doesn’t fit. :] The next thing we need to do is to plan the layout of the marketplace. (bottom left) Planning Path Layout I like using the new path block in between all the stands. At this point, it’s also good to have an idea of how broad you want your paths to be. A thin path will make the marketplace more clumped up and busy-looking. For this marketplace, I’m making the paths as thin as possible, since I don’t have much space. In most cases, I would recommend making them a bit broader, to make it less chaotic. Now for planning where your stands go. (bottom left) Planning Stand Layout You can use this method of placing some andesite before building each stand. :] This marketplace is going to be VERY clumped up! (bottom left) Building Stands It’s really starting to look like a marketplace! Here’s an example of a marketplace with 4 block wide paths. It’s much less busy looking! Here you can get a better feel for each stand, which some prefer and others don’t. Now it’s time to add the accessories! First, I’m adding logs by the wood selling stand.. (bottom left) Adding Accessories An anvil by the blacksmith.. A wagon with melons by the melon stand.. And cages with chickens behind the egg stand! Now the marketplace just needs an entrance and we’re done! 😀 I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. I love making these in my worlds!
